Interserve Europe is a branch of an international Christian Mission agency. It recruits Christians of all denominations from continental Europe for service in wholistic ministry in Asia and the Arab World.
The job involves
• Executing the decisions of the Board
• Managing the day to day business of the office
• Keeping in touch with developments in Europe, particularly related to mission
• Taking initiatives to further develop the Interserve profile in Europe
• Initiating fundraising activities
The main criteria are:
• Experience in cross-cultural mission
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• A bachelors degree (at least)
• Basic financial and general computer skills
• Excellent written and oral English; German and French an advantage
• Managerial experience or aptitude
• Ability to commit to the position for at least 4 years.
• Preferably based in mainland Europe; UK is possible
It is a full time job.
The position is currently based in the Netherlands. Another base can be mutually agreed upon.
This is an unsalaried position requiring willingness on the part of the candidate to raise at least a percentage of the salary through a group of friends or the local church.
